How do you make money on Ebay?

I have been selling on Ebay, I would like to know if it is possible to make profit. I have lost money so far with the listing cost and shipping. Anyone have any suggestions. Ideas? Personal experiences?

Ebay is just not what it use to be. Fees are just to high. I lost for years before I got wise and looked for other ways to sell my things craigslist is a good place for free and it has as many people looking as ebay. If you do want to sell on ebay make sure you list the shipping a little higher so you can make up for the loss.

You can always start small - really small by selling things you have around you house or items you pick up for pennies at a local yard sale. This will at least give you the experience while you learn and expand.

I have had success with dropshipping. The thing with dropshipping is that you need a good dropshipper and you also need to find items that you can make a profit on. It takes some research to find good items, but once you do there is money to be made with dropshipping.

eBay fees are getting steeper these days as well. That makes it all harder, but if you think of eBay as a way to get customers for an off-ebay business, then in the long run it's worth it. Think repeat customers.

Those are just a few tips and ideas :-) Good luck!

The Truth About The New "Ebay Cash!" Ebook
This is not another ebook filled with get-rich-quick schemes, crazy ideas, and unrealistic claims. It's also not filled with boring tutorials of how to list an eBay auction. After all, eBay has made it so easy that virtually anyone who can find their way to the internet can figure out how to follow the on-screen instructions to post an auction.

What you will find is 135 pages of the stuff that really matters. I'm talking about the pure money-making knowledge that sets apart the average sellers from the big time PowerSellers. These aren't "secrets" as so many authors like to call them: This is tried and true REAL information that can help you make money starting NOW.

I initially was doing well with ebay-for several months. Around Christmas, things started slowing down. (I sold mostly clothes.) What I started to notice was that ebay made money from me, instead of the other way around. You have to stay on top of your listings, keep your site fresh, talk it up all the time, etc. It takes a lot of time!

I found a very informative video series recently. It talks about how to actually make money with all the recent changes they have done. Once I implemented what they were talking about my monthly profits went up about 83%. When I picked it up it was free, and I think it might still be free for a few more days. Check it out.
